Calendar Settings
Calendar Settings control your availability, the spacing around sessions, and how booking slots are presented to clients.
Open Calendar Settings for the practitioner.
1. Working hours
Set the days and times you are available to welcome clients.
- Toggle each day on or off.
- Set a start and end time for active days.
- Add multiple time blocks within a day for a midday break.
2. Break times
Use Add Break Time to block recurring breaks, such as lunch or school pickup. Break times are removed from available booking slots.
3. Session timing
- Preparation Time (minutes): buffer before a session.
- Recovery Time (minutes): buffer after a session.
These buffers are blocked out so you are not booked back-to-back when you need space.
4. Booking constraints
- Minimum Lead Time (hours): how far in advance a client must book.
- Additional daily capacity settings may be available depending on your plan.
5. Slot display mode
Choose how available slots appear to clients:
- Merge slots: combines contiguous availability into continuous blocks.
- Show all slots: shows every individual start time for the session duration.
When Show all slots is selected, choose the interval:
- 5 minutes
- 10 minutes
- 15 minutes
Start times align to the hour. For example, 15-minute granularity shows 9:00, 9:15, 9:30, and 9:45.
6. Timezone
Your timezone is managed in your user settings. Clients see availability in their own timezone, while your dashboard uses your configured timezone.
7. Practitioner slug
Your public booking URL uses your practitioner slug, configured on the Practitioners page. Keep it simple, lowercase, and stable.
Troubleshooting
Clients see too many or too few slots. Review Slot display mode and Slot granularity, plus working hours, breaks, preparation, and recovery time.
A client cannot book soon enough. Lower the Minimum Lead Time if your schedule allows.
My changes did not apply to the public booking page. Save the settings and refresh the booking page. Existing open booking pages may need a refresh.
My booking link uses an old URL. The practitioner slug may have changed. Copy the current booking link from the practitioner profile.
