Carla will provide a safe and validating space in which to share your story. She will then help you unravel your trauma, utilising her extensive knowledge to offer you a different lens through which to view your experience. You’ll leave this session feeling lighter, more hopeful and equipped with a handful of tools to continue your healing journey.

After a traumatic first birth, there is naturally a lot of fear and self doubt in looking towards your next birth. Carla is here to help you prepare for the healing, positive and empowering birth that you’re seeking. Unless this planning session is for your first birth, you’ll need to ensure you’ve already had an Unravelling Your Trauma session.

The loss of your baby, no matter their age, and no matter the circumstances surrounding their death, is a heart breaking ordeal. Carla is here to listen and to offer gentle, loving support, as you navigate your way through your grief and pain. This session is likely to be around 2 hours long, though the booking is for 3 hours so that time pressure is minimised.

Havening is a gentle, touch-based therapeutic tool designed to help your mind and body feel safe again after a distressing experience. It uses comforting touch on the arms, hands, or face, combined with simple, guided steps to create a sense of safety and calm. This helps the brain 'de-link' overwhelming emotions from past events, so you can remember what happened without feeling the same level of, or perhaps any, distress.
