Session Packages
Session packages let clients buy several sessions in advance. Each package is tied to a session type, and the client receives a set number of booking credits.
1. Creating a package
- Open your practitioner settings for the relevant practitioner.
- Go to Session Packages.
- Click New Package.
- Complete:
- Package Name, for example 5-Session Healing Bundle.
- Description (up to 300 characters).
- Applies to Session Type: the session type the credits can be used for.
- Price and Number of Credits (Sessions).
- Active: active packages appear in the storefront.
- Click Save Package.
You can edit or delete packages from the list. To stop selling a package while keeping its history, edit it and turn Active off. Deleting a package removes it from your list; use this carefully if clients have already purchased it.
2. How clients use packages
- Active packages appear in the Storefront under Session Packages.
- After purchase, the client sees the package in their Digital Library under Session Credits & Packages.
- The card shows the remaining credits, total credits, and eligible session type.
- Book Session opens the practitioner’s booking calendar.
- At checkout, the client can pay with a package credit when they have an active package for that session type. The remaining credit balance is reduced and the booking is confirmed.
Clients can also see their packages on their profile in the practitioner’s Clients area under the Packages tab, including credits used and remaining.
3. Packages and payment plans
Payment plans can include packages as allowed products. A client can choose an installment schedule for a package at checkout if an active plan covers it.
4. Packages included with cohorts or memberships
- A cohort can include a complimentary 1:1 package. Enrolling students receive the package credits automatically. See Running Cohorts & Live Meetings.
- A membership can replenish a set number of session credits each billing cycle. See Memberships & Subscriptions.
In both cases, the client books the included session from their library or cohort space.
5. Troubleshooting
A package is not in the shop. Check that it is Active and attached to an active session type.
A client cannot use a package credit. Credits are tied to the package’s session type. Confirm the client is booking the eligible session type and has remaining credits.
A client has no credits left. The package purchase remains visible in their library, but Book Session is hidden or the package-credit payment option is unavailable. They can purchase another package or pay normally.
A package price looks wrong. Package prices use the organisation’s currency. Check the price on the package and any member discount that may apply.
