Embedding your Calendar
You can bring the gentle, welcoming booking experience of LightStack directly to your own personal website through our Embedded Calendar widget. This allows your community to book sessions with you without ever having to leave your digital home.
Before embedding your calendar, we highly recommend setting up your Calendar Settings and Session Types to ensure your schedule is fully aligned with your energy and availability.
Getting Your Embed Code
- Navigate to your Calendar Settings.
- Look for the Embed Calendar section.
- Copy the provided HTML snippet. This code is uniquely generated for your profile.
Adding the Calendar to your Website
The exact steps depend on your website builder (Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, custom HTML, etc.), but generally:
- Open the page on your website where you want the calendar to appear.
- Add an “HTML”, “Embed”, or “Code” block to your page layout.
- Paste the snippet you copied from LightStack into this block.
- Save and publish your website.
Your website will now seamlessly display your live availability, honoring all your Session Types, Pricing (including ‘Pay at Session’), and Scheduling Rules directly on your own site.
Security & Authorized Origins
To protect your booking widget from being embedded maliciously on unauthorized websites, LightStack enforces Origin restrictions.
- Within your Calendar Settings, ensure you add your website’s domain (e.g.,
https://www.yourbeautifulwebsite.com) to your Allowed Origins list. - If a website attempts to load your widget and its domain is not on your Allowed Origins list, the widget will safely refuse to load.
