Profile, Branding & Custom Domain
Your organisation profile powers your public landing page, search results, and link previews. This guide covers the settings behind it.
1. Organisation profile
Open Organisation Settings.
Core details
- Name and Slug: the public name and URL for your organisation.
- Summary: a short line used on cards and in metadata.
- Description: the longer introduction to your organisation.
- Healing Modalities: tags that describe your practice. These appear on your public profile and help clients understand what you offer.
Contact and web presence
Enter a Contact Email, Contact Phone, and Website URL. Each has a Public checkbox. Only fields marked public appear on your profile.
Location
- Enter your address and choose a Public address visibility option: All details, City and Country only, or None.
- Set Service range (km) if you travel to clients.
- Tick Show map on public profile to show your service area map.
See Service Range and Travel Area for more on travel settings.
Default currency
Your default currency is used for new priced items. Use Change to switch it. Existing prices keep their own currency until you deliberately change them.
2. Branding
Open Brand Settings.
- Header Image: the large image on your public profile.
- Logo: used in your site header and link previews.
- Photo Gallery Style: Grid or Masonry.
- Theme colours: Primary, Secondary, and Accent. Use the lock icons to keep a colour fixed when generating or editing a theme.
Brand colours are applied to your public site and used by AI design tools when creating branded images.
3. Social links
Open Social Settings to add:
- LinkedIn company name
- Facebook username
- Instagram username
These links appear on your public profile.
4. SEO and link previews
Your public pages use tenant-aware metadata automatically:
- Page titles use your organisation name as the suffix.
- Descriptions use the page description first, then your organisation summary, then your description.
- Link previews use the page’s cover or header image, then your logo.
- Canonical links and
og:urlprefer your verified custom domain.
To improve how your site appears when shared, keep your Summary, Description, Logo, and Header Image up to date. Blog posts, services, practitioner profiles, reviews, the shop, booking pages, and checkout pages supply their own titles and images where available.
5. Custom domain
Open Custom Domain to connect your own domain.
- In your DNS provider, create a CNAME record.
- For Host, use
@or a subdomain such asbook. - For Target / Value, use the CNAME target shown on the page. Copy it with the copy button.
- Enter the domain in the Custom Domain field, for example
booking.mybrand.com. - Click Update Domain.
Verification usually takes a few minutes. The status shows:
- Verified: your site is available on the domain.
- Pending Verification
- Verification Failed
- Not Configured
You will receive an email when verification succeeds. Once verified, the custom domain is used in canonical links and link previews.
DNS changes can take longer to propagate. If verification fails, confirm the CNAME record and wait before trying again.
6. Public pages
Your profile connects to these public pages:
- Landing page at your organisation URL.
- Blog posts at
/postand/post/:slug. - Services at
/services/:slug. - Practitioner profiles at
/practitioner/:practitioner_slug. - Team page at
/team. - Reviews at
/reviews. - Shop at
/shop. - Booking flow at
/schedule/:practitioner_slug. - Newsletter signup at
/subscribe. - Waitlist at
/waitlist. - Contact form at
/contact.
Use Posts for articles and announcements.
7. QR business card
Your organisation dashboard includes a QR Business Card preview.
- It links to your homepage with a
ref=cardtracking parameter. - For the LightStack tenant, it links to the LightStack waitlist instead.
- Click Preview to open a large, screenshot-friendly QR view.
- Scans are tracked in Page Analytics under referrers.
Print it, add it to a flyer, or share it on social media.
8. Troubleshooting
My logo or header image is not updating. Save the brand form, then refresh the public page. If the image still looks stale, clear the browser cache.
My custom domain is stuck pending. Check the CNAME host and target, confirm there is no conflicting A record for the same host, and allow time for DNS propagation.
My contact details are not showing. Only fields with the Public checkbox ticked appear on the profile.
A share preview shows the wrong image. The page-specific image is used first. Check the post, service, or practitioner header image; otherwise your organisation logo is used.
My map is not showing. Check that the address is set, Show map on public profile is ticked, and the public address visibility is not set to None.
