👥 Managing Subscribers
Keeping your subscriber list healthy and growing is key to successful community outreach. The Subscriptions page allows you to view detailed statuses, manually edit records, and bulk-import new contacts to your newsletter list.
📋 The Subscriber List
To access your list, navigate to Communications > Subscriptions from your dashboard sidebar.
Main View
The main table displays your active audience:
- User: Displays the subscriber’s name and email clearly.
- Opt-in Status: Confirms whether the contact has finalized their subscription state (e.g., “Confirmed”).
Quick Actions
- Edit: Opens a detailed modal to update personal details or check historical benchmarks.
- Delete (Bin Icon): Permanently removes the subscriber from the list.
✏️ Modifying a Subscriber
Clicking Edit on a subscriber row opens a focused management modal.
Available Fields:
- Name: Update the display name used for dynamic variables in emails.
- Email: The contact address (Note: Generally locked or managed carefully for accuracy).
- Historical Benchmarks:
- Opt-in Sent: Records when the initial invitation was triggered.
- Opt-in Confirmed: Records when the user officially joined the list.
📥 Bulk Importing Subscribers
If you have an existing list from another platform, you can bring them over using the “Import Subscribers” tool at the top right of the page.
The Import Flow:
- Upload CSV: Select your file containing user details.
- Use Template: Click the “Download a template” link first to ensure columns align perfectly with the system requirements.
- Invitation Control Tools:
- Send Invitation Email toggle: Enable this to trigger a welcome/invite note immediately upon import.
- Custom Message: Compose a warm, personal invitation message.
- Send Preview to Me: Test how the email looks before executing the bulk operation.
Click “Start Import” to finalize the bulk insertion.
We validate email addresses during import and will reject any that are malformed or invalid. If you see a few less emails than you were expecting it will be because they have failed the validation check.
